This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good [a] success.— Joshua 1:8 AMPC
In our theme scripture, the Lord instructs Joshua to meditate on His word continually for him to be successful in delivering the assignment He had given him to take the children of Israel into the Promised Land. This is the same with you today. You cannot fulfill God's purpose successfully without the empowerment of God's word. God's word is your campus through which you navigate your way for purpose fulfillment. Your walk with God is based on revelation. Without revelation of the word you become a victim of Satan's schemes in this world. It is the word of God that puts you above such schemes. The Word of God is your reservoir well from which you draw divine wisdom and encouragement. Take note that He says the word should not depart from your mouth. This means keep talking the word of God. Don't just memorize the word but also talk it. This is God's strategy for you to deal wisely in the affairs of life and have good success in the assignment of God on your life. Leaving out the word of God is jeopardizing the actualization of your purpose.
