Our opening scripture encapsulate the passionate heart that Apostle Paul had as regards to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. Without such unapologetic commitment, the Gospel wouldn't have reached you today. That is the same attitude God wants you to have. Apostle Paul run his race, now it is your time and turn. If you have the understanding that Paul had concerning the Gospel, you can have remarkable results as he achieved, because God is no respecter of people. He understood that the Gospel is God's power for the salvation of every person who believes. He knew something that would save man and he refused to be silent on it. The Gospel is the only way through which man gets saved. The Lord declared about Himself in John14:6, "I am the way, truth and life. No man comes to the Father except by me". This was an absolute communication. Man can't have fellowship with God except through Jesus Christ. The Gospel is about Jesus Christ and what He came to do in the earth and what has resulted from that work. Jesus knew that He held the key to man's salvation and He was willing to face that shameful death of a criminal in our place. He despised shame. You too, never be ashamed of that which will save people. Witness about the Lord Jesus without fear. He gave us the Holy Spirit to help us and strengthen us so that we don't do His work with human energy and ability. Be unashamed and bold to identify with Him that died for the whole world.
