The Holy Spirit was sent to guide you into all truth. That means you have counsel and guidance for anything in the Holy Spirit. That wisdom you require for your progress is in the Holy Spirit. John 16:13 NIV records, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." This means there is nothing like being helpless and stranded for the child of God unless by choice. In the Holy Spirit you have a reservoir of unlimited counsel and guidance for anything. Think of the Red sea experience of the children of Israel where no human or scientific solution was available. However, God was not stranded and He was not in short supply of divine counsel. Moses acted on God's counsel and the Red seas split wide open for them to pass (Exodus 14:21-22). He can give you counsel that can get you either out of trouble or to a next level in your walk with God or business or family. David in recognition of this truth declared in Psalm 16:7 "I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me". He recognized God as source of counsel. Take your fellowship with the Holy Spirit seriously and keep receiving counsel and guidance from Him. He came to help you. This is God's love for you.
