Anchored in Scripture, Empowered by the Spirit

At Katartis Ministries, every programme, teaching, and activity flows from a settled conviction about who God is and what He has done for humanity. These six core beliefs are not merely theological positions - they are the living heartbeat of our community.

We hold them not out of tradition alone, but because we have seen them proven through lives transformed, prayers answered, and the Word faithfully fulfilled across generations.

Six Pillars of Our Faith

Each belief is rooted in Scripture and shapes the way we live, serve, and preach the Gospel.

01

The Bible is the Word of God

We firmly believe that the Bible is God's word and this means that it is God's testimony about Himself and everything. This testimony contains what God said, what angels said, what people said and even what Satan said. Every scripture therein is inspired by God as His testimony to us.

The Bible has a proven record through the ages of exact prophetic fulfilments and miraculous manifestations when acted upon. This is proof it is not the word of man but God.

2 Timothy 3:16
02

Jesus Christ is the Only Saviour and Way to the Father

We firmly believe that there is only one way through which man can get saved. That way is Jesus Christ. He said Himself in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except by Me."

There is no other name under heaven by which humanity can be saved - not by works, not by religion, but solely through faith in the risen Christ.

John 14:6 · Acts 4:12
03

The New Birth through the Declaration of the Lordship of Jesus

We believe salvation results when man believes in the gospel of Christ and confesses with their mouth the Lordship of Jesus as given in Romans 10:9 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

We believe every true human being must be born again. This is not optional - it is the gateway to the Kingdom of God and the beginning of eternal life.

Romans 10:9 · John 3:3
04

The Holy Spirit is God and Empowerment to Live the Christian Life

It is our firm belief that no authentic Christian life can be lived without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and was sent after Jesus ascended to heaven. He is the God with us here on the earth and conveys to us the presence of God the Father and Jesus the Son.

The Holy Spirit empowers the Christian to live victoriously and effectively - not by human effort, but by His indwelling presence and power.

Acts 1:8 · John 14:16–17
05

The Second Coming of Christ and the Great Catching Away of the Saints (Rapture)

We firmly believe that Jesus Christ will come again just like the Scripture has said - "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11).

His second coming will be preceded by the catching away of the Church (the Rapture), when the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we who are alive shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air.

Acts 1:11 · 1 Thessalonians 4:16
06

The Gospel is God's Power to Save Every Person Who Believes

We believe that all that Jesus came to do - His life, His death, and His resurrection - are all encapsulated in the Gospel of Christ. Romans 1:16 declares, "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is God's power unto salvation to every man that believes."

Man has to hear the gospel to believe. It is not reserved for a select few - it is God's universal power for every soul willing to receive it, regardless of background, race, or past.

Romans 1:16 · Romans 10:14
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
