The underlined word "changed" in our theme scripture is translated from metamorphoo in Greek which means transformation. God lets us know that His plan for our transformation is from glory to glory. Even in biology transformation is an irreversible process. A butterfly doesn't return to a caterpillar. You journey in Christ is of ever increasing glory. Romans 1:17 says in the gospel God's righteousness is revealed from faith to faith. Not from faith to unbelief. God didn't plan that you move from faith into unbelief. Proverbs 4:18 declares, "But the path of the just is as the shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day". He says more and more not from more to less. Psalm 84:7 also states, "They go from strength to strength. Every one of them in Zion appears before God". Your journey with the Lord is from strength to strength, not strength to weakness. This is the description of your life as a child of God. It is from glory to glory.

Take notice that our opening scripture tells us that this transformation which is from glory to glory occurs as we behold or look as in a mirror God's glory. God's Word is God's mirror for His children (James 1:23). It shows us who we really are in God's sight. The world can't show you who you are in God's sight, His word does. As you focus on God's word, you will experience transformation in your life. His word is His agent of transformation in our lives, for the manifestation of God's glory in us. The transformation God brings through His word is from glory to glory, devoid of mediocrity. Hold God's word so dear in your heart. Make the meditation on God's word your serious focus.
