David's Manifestation to the limelight didn't come by invitation like Jephthah. Jephthah was invited back as influenced by God's favour (Judges 9:1) whereas David had to have unwavering resolve and determination to face a fight with Goliath of Gath. David had to seize the moment with audacity as displayed in our opening scripture. His manifestation did not come in peace. Don't allow challenges discourage you. See them as opportunities for your manifestation. David was sent to go visit his brethren at war. While there he heard Goliath challenge the God of the armies of Israel. He started engaging people registering interest in fighting against the giant. He faced discouragement from his brothers and the king who later permitted him upon sharing his testimony of killing the lion and the bear. You may be disapproved by people and you don't have their support. Take courage by God's grace and don't fear. He has not given you the Spirit of fear but love, power and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). David refused to be discouraged, not even by the king.

David took the daring steps of faith and by a stone killed Goliath. Grab the bull by the horns, the Lord is with you. Use all that the Lord has given you, what He has been teaching you. He wasn't training you for nothing. Use your mouth and declare boldly on the basis of God's word. Caleb and Joshua declared concerning the giants in Canaan while silencing unbelief, "Their defense has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Fear them not" (Numbers 14:9). Let no one and nothing drown your faith. No challenge or news or words of men should discourage you. Seize the moment audaciously and you will see God's glory revealed. Take action boldly by faith.
