The Holy Spirit distinguishes you from others. Saul was told by Samuel in our opening scripture that he would be changed into a different person when the Spirit of the Lord descend on him. This shows that He makes you different. He is the one who makes Christianity supernatural. With the Spirit of the Lord your life is distinguished. With the Holy Spirit, the Lord Jesus in revealed in power through your life. Before receiving the Holy Spirit, Peter was timid and denied knowing the Lord (Luke 22:60). After receiving the Holy Spirit at the day of Pentecost, Peter was bold and was never afraid of death. He courageously and joyously testified of the resurrected Christ (Acts 2:14). History bears record of his execution due the testimony of the Lord. The Holy Spirit transforms you into another man that people around begin to ask if you are the same.

By His presence, the works of God are manifested in your life. People begin to see God at work in and through your life. Jesus was distinguished by the Holy Spirit. In a quotation style, He declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19). His life and ministry was distinguished by the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit you are not ordinary. No wonder the Lord prophetically declared, “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion” (Isaiah 8:18).

These signs and wonders are by the Spirit. By the Holy Spirit, You experience and manifest the transformative power of the Lord.
