TAKE COURAGE, HE OVERCAME THE WORLD

Levie Gomagoma John 16:33 AMP
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
John 16:33 AMP

As a child of God you are not a defeated person trying to win. Rather you already won in Christ Jesus. You are the reason why Jesus came into this world. All He accomplished was about and for you. It was in your interest He yielded in death and victoriously rose from the dead. His victory over Satan, hell, death and sin was done in your behalf. This is what the Lord passed across to the disciples in our opening scripture. He says to you today, “be courageous, I have overcome the world”. Be undaunted with the troubles in the world, you have the victory of Christ given to you. He overcame the corrupt systems of this world. Don’t lose sight of this precious victory because of what you are facing.

Romans 8:37 (AMP) declares, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]”. You are more than a conqueror and that means you are gathering the spoils after the battle is won. All you do is to insist on your victory in Christ. Every day, the Lord by His spirit leads you triumphantly on the basis of the victory He already won for you. 2 Corinthians 2:14 states, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place”. In the victory of Christ is the supply of your everyday triumphant walk. Refuse to fear, you already won in Christ.

Confession
Because Jesus overcame, I overcame. In Him and by His love overwhelming victory is mine. Amen
