There is a special glory conferred on the soul winner both presently and in the future of eternity. Isaiah 52:7 declares, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, which publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” This is the way God sees the soul winner. When you win souls, your feet are beautiful and that means it’s a pleasing thing to God and He confers glory on it. In Luke 15:3-7 the Lord shared a parable of the lost sheep. Upon finding that one lost sheep the owner was filled with joy. Luke 15:5 states, “And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing”. That is the joy of the soul winner, seeing people receiving salvation. It’s a satisfaction which can’t come in another way except your involvement in soul winning.

Furthermore, there is a glory of resources upon the soul winner. Psalm 35:27 states, “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant”. Favoring the Lord righteous cause signify fostering the Gospel which makes people righteous before God and He connects it to the prosperity of His servants. The soul winner is designed not to lack. Matthew 6:33 enjoins us, “Seek ye first His kingdom and righteousness and all of these things (resources) shall be added unto you”. Through the gospel the influence of the kingdom extends and resources trickle to you in unending supply. Daniel by prophetic revelation saw the glory of the soul winner in the future of eternity as indicated in our opening scripture.

He declared, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever”. Those that turn many to righteousness through the gospel shall shine as stars forever in eternity with the Lord. This is about the future. It’s a divine experience no human words can encapsulate. This includes the reward or crown of glory and the ecstatic fellowship which will be experienced with the Lord. Take soul winning seriously.
