The theme scripture shows that the moment one gets born again they are sealed with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God's seal on the believer. A seal is an official mark of authenticity. This means that the Holy Spirit is God's mark that you belong to Him. Romans 8:9 declares, "Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his". It is the Holy Spirit you are marked with as a child of God. You are known of God by that seal. 2 Timothy 2:19 unequivocally states, "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his". He knows you by that seal and that can't be forged or faked. 2 Corinthians 1:22 NCV proclaims, "He put his mark on us to show that we are His". God puts this seal of the Spirit on your spirit when you accept Jesus in your heart. God knows you by the presence of that seal, the Holy Spirit. A seal also signifies preservation and this tells you of how secured you are in the Lord by the Spirit. This is what Colossians 3:3 declares, "For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God". Your life is hidden, secured and preserved with Christ in God. The Lord Jesus declared in John 10:28, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand". Brothers and sisters, by the seal of the Holy Spirit, you are in the most secure and safest place. The Holy Spirit is that seal upon your life. Nothing can destroy you. Hallelujah.
