Apostle Paul experienced challenging and troublous times in his ministry and sometimes men who were expected to support him deserted him. He says in 2 Timothy 4:16, "but all forsook me." Despite being forsaken by men, God stood with him and strengthened him as communicated in our theme scripture. You might be facing such a time in your life when you see those you expected help from desert you. Remember, God is always with you because Christ is in you. In Mathew 28:20, the Lord Jesus said "lo I am with you always until the end of the age". He is not with you one day, nor when men are around you only. It is not about how you feel but about what He has said. Be encouraged today. It doesn't matter who has left you, God is with you. Stop crying about being not helped by men. The Lord is with you and He is your helper. In Psalm 121:2 David declared, "My help come from the Lord who made heaven and earth". What He did with Paul, He will do for you. Even as you read receive strength and hope from the Lord and declare boldly these words, "I am mightily helped by the Lord". The Lord standing with you is greater than men standing with you. That's the required factor for your perpetual triumphant life in Christ.

Isaiah 43:2 conveys His reassuring words, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee". And hear also His soothing and loving voice from Isaiah 43:5 "Fear not: for I am with thee". The three Hebrews boys were thrown into the burning furnace but God was with them and not even their clothes could be burnt with the fire (Daniel 3). Only the sovereign God who created heaven and earth can do such a thing and He is with you today. He is standing with you in whatever situation you may be in. You are mightily helped. Hallelujah
