God’s purpose is the best for you. You may be facing pressure from society, relations and even yourself concerning who you ought to be. Above all these, God’s purpose is greatest. You might fulfil society’s dream or that of your relations or yourself but if you don’t fulfil God’s purpose, it’s all in vain. There is no meaning in any so called success when God’s purpose has been missed. Don’t miss God’s destiny. Sometimes there are those who after discovering God’s purpose, they forfeit it for the fleeting pleasures of this life. That amounts to emptiness. Don’t wish you were something that God never intended you to be. That would be like a cat wishing it was a monkey. Your true joy and satisfaction is in walking the road of God’s purpose for your life. Rejoice in what He has designed you to be. That is the best for you.

Moses chose God’s purpose above the comfort of Pharaoh’s palace. Hebrews 11:24-26 states: “It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be treated as the grandson of the king, but chose to share ill-treatment with God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. He thought that it was better to suffer for the promised Christ than to own all the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking forward to the great reward that God would give him”. He chose God’s purpose. In John 6:38 the Lord Jesus categorically declared His focus on God’s purpose: “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me”.
