Do you know you are called to live in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ? It doesn't just mean using the name of Jesus in prayer. It includes that but goes beyond that. This means living with the active consciousness of Christ because you represent Him today. Do you know when He says in the name of Jesus, it means you stand in His place? It means you represent Him today in this world. Isaiah 53:10 says "he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his day". We are His seed prolonging or extending His days on earth today. This means walking in His authority, ability, power and victory. How could you live a life of a failure when you do everything in the name of Jesus? Philippians 2:9 reveals the unmatched magnitude of the authority of His name, "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name". This demands you to have active consciousness of the greatness of His name. You are not ordinary as a child of God. Your words and actions ought not to be empty but full of power. Imagine you have been delegated by the president to a function. You go there in the name of that president. When you stand and speak, everybody sees the president speaking and relates with it as from the president. What you says carries the power of the president you represent. This mirrors what it means to live in the name of Jesus. Let your thoughts, words and actions be inspired by the consciousness of His divine authority given to you to stand in His name. Be always conscious that you represent Him in the earth. Walk with the consciousness of His victory. This is what it means to do everything in the name of Jesus.
