In John 9:5 Jesus made an auto-declaration, "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world". Those who believe in Him become just like Him. In the theme verse He tells you, "You are the light of the world". Today I will dissect for you the benefits of light. This will show how important you are to God and in this world. Firstly, light brings Illumination. That means you are designed of God to illuminate others. They are supposed to know God because of you. As you witness to them Christ Jesus you are illuminating them. Acts 13:47 says, "I have made you a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth". Light also brings the manifestation of the beauty of a place or person. Ephesians 5:13 says whatever makes manifest is light. As you meet them they will know their true value and see the beauty within. Light is also a key catalyst factor in restoration of lost order and the end of the era of darkness. In Genesis 1:1-3 God brought light when there was chaos. When you come in a place order will be set. To have demons wreak havoc of people is a disorder in the spirit. When you come, light has come and order will be restored as you drive out the demons. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cant resists it (John 1:5). Light also brings direction and guidance. Many people are directionless in life, living empty lives. When they meet you, they will have the true guide and that will be the end of their purposeless walk in life. Think about all these benefits of light. This should signal God's plan for your life and how important you are to Him and to your world. He achieves His purpose through you as His light in this world. Live with this consciousness today and always.
