LOVE

Levie Gomagoma 1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love
1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

While hope is about the future and faith is for the present, love is for all times. Love is the lifeline of Hope and faith. It is the catalyst empowerment of faith and hope. Without love, hope and faith lack support. Always never lose sight of God's amazing love for you which seeds your manifestation of love to others. God loves you dearly, unconditionally and He proved it in giving you the best gift, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:5 (NCV) tells us, "And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us". Because God's love is poured in our hearts, hope is supported not to disappoint us. Hope is fueled by love. It doesn't matter how far the vision looks to be realized or how unlikely it seems, remember God's love and walk in love. As you hope for the desired future, don't become jealousy of others who seem to have arrived at their realization of hope. Congratulate them sincerely. If you give in to envy, you deprive your own hope the support towards its realization.

Galatians 5:6 (NCV) states, "When we are in Christ Jesus, it is not important if we are circumcised or not. The important thing is faith—the kind of faith that works through love". He tells us that faith works by love. Love makes your faith effectively operational. This means your actions of faith don't have to harm or demean others. As a caution, know that something realized by faith can be lost through hatred or selfishness. 1 Corinthians 16:14 (ESV) enjoins us, "Let all that you do be done in love". Your good efforts are compromised in the absence of love. Love is the critical ingredient for yielding substantial achievements in God's eyes. Without love faith and hope lack support. Be conscious of God's love always and extend this love to your world.

Confession
The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. Just as the Father loved the Son Jesus, and Jesus loved me, I continue as an open channel of this love to my world. In Jesus name. Amen
