While knowing that there are only two clear separate eternal destinations for man as shared in our previous article, you must never relent in your efforts to reach out to others with the gospel of Christ. You have to stay ablaze with the gospel. The gospel of Christ is the power of God which saves those who believe (Romans 1:16). This gospel is about Jesus Christ and what He came to do. Our theme scripture today enjoins us: “Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching”. You haven’t fully and efficiently utilized time as God desires if there is nothing significant about soul winning in your life. Don’t allow your passion to share the gospel of Christ be extinguished. In Matthew 24:14 the Lord Jesus declared, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”. As long as the end of this age hasn’t arrived, keep preaching the gospel of Christ.

Romans 12:11 (RSV) instructs us, “Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord”. It doesn’t matter your age, education status or gender, be aflame with the gospel of Christ. Always remember that Jesus Christ is the only way to having a real and true relationship with God. Don’t live as though there is another way into salvation. You are God’s watchman in the gospel today. Ezekiel 3:16 records, “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me”. You are a watchman made by God not men. This means you are accountable to God. You are answerable to God. Be ablaze with the gospel, helping many receive salvation. Treat this noble responsibility with utmost seriousness. Let His word be like fire shut up in your bones that you can’t keep quiet on the gospel.
